Job summary

Sunstates Security is seeking an Operations Manager to lead security teams across the Austin, TX region. The role focuses on developing staff, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring high operational standards.

You will oversee onboarding, training, and daily site operations, with a base salary of $75,000 per year paid weekly and a bonus potential of up to 10% of base pay. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience in the security industry.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license in all areas under command.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple accounts in the Austin, TX area and provide leadership to security personnel.
• Train, develop, and motivate supervisory staff to oversee day-to-day operations.
• Oversee onboarding of new hires including interviews, selection, training, licensure, and paperwork.
• Coach supervisors on software systems, guidelines, and policies; enforce consistency.
• Coordinate payroll, billing, accounts receivable, staffing, scheduling, and personnel issues.
• Conduct site assist visits and audits per Quality Assurance.
• Collaborate with Regional leadership to set goals and communicate them to branch staff.
• Work with sales/marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.
