Related Affordable is seeking a Community Manager in Austin, TX to lead a 62-unit affordable housing community. You’ll direct a team, oversee leasing, marketing, finances, and compliance with affordable housing programs, while delivering a high-quality living environment for residents.

You will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and reporting, ensuring timely operations and resident satisfaction. An emphasis on leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement guides this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
• Strong financial acumen including budget management and accounting principles.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise office and maintenance staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and admin functions.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquencies.
• Maintain resident relations and handle tenant/landlord issues.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC).
• Supervise property maintenance and service quality.
• Develop and manage the property budget.
• Prepare reports to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Lead special projects to enhance the community.
