Cherry Bekaert is a leading accounting and advisory firm in the United States seeking an Audit Staff to work on diverse audit engagements under supervision. You will communicate with project leads and clients, develop technical accounting skills and prepare financial statements and workpapers across client sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, CPA eligibility or CPA, and willingness to travel with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Masters preferred; CPA-certified or eligibility to work toward CPA license.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel.
• Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime during certain business cycles.

Responsabilités

• Work on a wide variety of audit engagements under the supervision of different accounting professionals.
• Communicate with project in-charges and clients
• Develop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements
• Prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries
• Gain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients
• Prepare and organize workpapers for client files
• Perform other essential duties as needed

Connaissances

Proficiency with computers and Excel/3

Formation

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

Master's degree preferred CPA eligible

GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
