Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Staff to perform a range of audit engagements under supervision, serving clients across diverse industries. You will interact with project in-charges and clients, build accounting skills, and prepare financial statements with supporting workpapers.

You will also prepare checklists, adjust journal entries, and contribute to client deliverables while maintaining quality and integrity. A path toward CPA licensure is noted, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• Master's degree and CPA eligibility are advantageous for career progression.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and serve clients from various industries.
• Communicate with project in-charges and clients.
• Develop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements.
• Prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries.
• Gain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients.
• Prepare and organize workpapers for client files.
• Perform other essential duties as needed.
