The ideal candidate holds a CPA license with 8+ years of relevant audit experience, including 5+ in a CPA firm with progressive leadership. Travel may be required as client needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements across diverse clientele.
• Direct teams of managers, seniors, and staff to plan, execute and finalize audits.
• Ensure audits meet timelines, budgets, and firm standards.
• Cultivate client relationships as primary point of contact for engagements.
• Develop audit strategies with partners and directors; allocate resources.
• Apply GAAP knowledge and auditing standards to complex issues.
• Mentor and develop junior team members; foster continuous learning.
• Maintain high quality in documentation, reports, and conclusions.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and assist in proposals.
• Assess and manage risks; communicate issues and mitigations to clients.
• Stay current on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
