Job summary

Meraki Talent is proudly working closely with a highly reputable and well-known CPA firm in New York city on the position of Audit Partner.

This position will sit within the firm’s Private Equity service line.

The firm:

Our client is an international CPA firm with offices spread across the globe, strategically placed to serve global clients of varying sizes, from large public listed entities to private firms and large international owner/family managed businesses.

The firm has a rich history spanning close to 100 years, evolving significantly from humble beginnings in the US to becoming a leading international CPA firm working across various sectors.

Due to a sustained period of growth within their Private Equity practice, they now seek an additional Partner to join their Audit service line.

Audit Partner:

As Audit Partner, you will lead a team of highly skilled Audit professionals, providing expert guidance on all matters Audit while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

You will work with some of the world’s largest Private Equity firms, providing strategic advice and ensuring compliance within your role as Audit Partner.

The Audit Partner will collaborate with other Partners across the firm to grow the Audit practice and identify cross-selling opportunities within the firm.

• Lead planning and execution meetings with clients within Private Equity.
• Oversight of a large portfolio of Private Equity firms.
• Nurture talent within your team, providing a center of excellence and understanding of regulatory standards.
• Utilize your existing network to grow your portfolio and win new clients.
• Collaborate with other leaders to develop the strategy for Private Equity and champion the firm’s values.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and Audit Quality standards across the Private Equity Audit service line.
• Demonstrate leadership and communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Adapt teaching methods to enhance team success.
• Communicate clearly with clients at the C-suite level.
• Manage with empathy, gaining trust and belief from your team.

Experience:

This Audit Partner opportunity arises from the growth of the Private Equity arm of the business. Key requirements include:

• Proven history as an Audit Director or Partner within the Private Equity field.
• Experience in winning new business and growing Audit portfolios.
• Experience in Auditing public listed entities.
• Valid CPA license.
