Jobot is seeking an Audit Manager – Not-for-Profit in Providence, RI to lead impactful nonprofit audit engagements, mentor teams, and contribute to a growing Not-for-Profit practice.

You will manage planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting, serve as primary client contact, ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance, and collaborate with Tax, Advisory, and Consulting teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of nonprofit audits.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and Uniform Guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of Not-for-Profit audit and assurance engagements.
• Direct engagement planning, risk assessment, fieldwork execution, and report issuance.
• Serve as the primary client contact for nonprofit organizations.
• Review and approve Audited Financial Statements, Audit Reports, and Management Communications.

• Serve as a technical resource for complex nonprofit accounting and compliance matters.
• Support internal quality control, peer review, and inspection processes.
• Partner with firm leadership to expand the Not-for-Profit practice.
• Participate in business development activities including:
