PwC’s Audit Japanese Business Network Intern role offers exposure to financial statement audits and PwC methodologies. As an intern, you’ll perform basic tasks, conduct research, and learn alongside experienced auditors while developing professional and technical skills in a supportive environment.

You’ll support teams with Japanese and English communications, gain insight into GAAP/GAAS, and contribute to audit documentation and risk management. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's in Accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 overall or higher.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically a junior in a four-year program or a senior in a five-year program.

Responsabilités

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for clients.
• Participate in review and verification of financial documents for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in applying GAAP and GAAS during audit processes.
• Engage in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends.
• Contribute to documentation of audit processes and findings for transparency.
• Collaborate with team members to address issues and manage identified risks.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand PwC methodologies.
• Utilize accounting skills to assist in preparation and presentation of financial reports.
• Apply auditing methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency of engagements.
• Develop understanding of internal controls and their role in safeguarding information.
