The internship emphasizes learning client processes and technology, executing tests of controls, and contributing to data‑driven audits using AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degrees in accounting (BAcc/MAcc) or equivalent.
• CPA licensure requirements in principal place of business (state of office) for this position.
• Completion of at least one college-level accounting course at time of application.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual English and Japanese required in a business environment.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx or Power BI preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and ability to leverage MS Office and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits and support capital markets by ensuring accuracy and reliability of client information, upholding independence.
• Prepare clear, well-structured audit documentation translating findings into actionable insights.
• Test client controls and balances using standard auditing procedures with appropriate terminology.
• Support high-quality audit execution through task performance and client/team interactions.
• Contribute to data‑driven audits by utilizing AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.
