PwC in the United States seeks an Audit Japanese Business Network Intern to assist audit teams delivering financial statement audits for Japanese clients, applying PwC methodologies and GAAP/GAAS while preparing reports and developing professional skills.

As an Intern, you will perform basic tasks, conduct research, observe engagements, and gain exposure to a US audit environment, while asking questions and contributing to team success and your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• GPA of at least 3.0 overall.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
• Internship is entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsabilités

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese clients.
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in applying GAAP and GAAS during audit processes.
• Analyze data to identify financial trends and insights.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain transparency and integrity.
• Collaborate with team members to address issues and manage risks identified during audits.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies.
• Utilize accounting skills to support preparation and presentation of financial reports.
• Apply auditing methodologies to improve quality and efficiency of engagements.
• Develop understanding of internal controls and their role in safeguarding information.
