Job summary

You'll work on tax returns support, data analysis, and international/tax planning tasks, gaining hands-on experience in corporate tax, compliance, and cross-border advisory.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Must have business level fluency in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

• Supporting tax teams in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Assisting in the analysis of tax data to identify potential tax savings and compliance opportunities.
• Participating in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance projects.
• Engaging in tax research to provide accurate and up-to-date information on tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with team members to draft and prepare tax documents for clients.
• Contributing to the development of tax strategies that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.
• Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to gain insights into tax consulting practices.
• Applying data analytics skills to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tax reporting processes.
• Supporting the Japanese Business Network in delivering tailored tax services to entrepreneurial and private businesses.
• Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning about tax structures and policies.
