Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time, eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment.
• Intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial statement audits and gain exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis to support the audit process and enhance financial reporting.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand audit practices and client interactions.
