Cherry Bekaert LLP invites interns to gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for a career. You will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, applying accounting knowledge with Firm technology and shadowing audit professionals.

You will participate in team development, marketing or research projects, and attend social activities while advancing your professional growth and development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
