Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on exposure to public accounting and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work with multiple supervisors on client engagements and shadow audit professionals at all levels.

You'll apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, participate in team training, and take part in marketing or research projects, while enjoying a collaborative environment that supports growth.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, within two years of graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
