Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Director or Audit Manager to join our Carolantaville Professional Services Industry team. This in‑office role can be based in Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh, or Winston‑Salem.

As a key client advisor, you'll partner with professional services organizations to deliver audit services, provide business insights, and help clients navigate complex challenges with confidence. You will lead and oversee audit engagements, manage staffing and budgets, and mentor

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• CPA license certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit and assurance engagements for professional services clients, guiding teams through all phases of the engagement lifecycle.
• Drive engagement strategy, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and key decision‑maker for client engagements with leadership.
• Build, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams by recruiting and coaching.
• Cultivate strong client relationships from engagement letter through final deliverables.
• Review and enhance audit programs and internal control evaluations for quality and compliance.
• Monitor engagement performance, budgets, and deadlines and identify process improvements.
• Facilitate client meetings, presenting findings and strategic insights.
