Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead planning and execution of engagements in Tulsa, OK. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge and a valid CPA license, with travel as needed to client sites and meetings. You will mentor assurance staff and contribute to client growth and retention.

The firm emphasizes professional standards, ongoing CPE, and building trusted advisor relationships with clients. Prior Caseware experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant audit experience.
• Current and valid CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
• Demonstrate strong GAAP knowledge to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Research complex accounting matters and communicate findings clearly in reports.
• Review audit workpapers for accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify risks and provide practical solutions.
• Drive client service excellence and nurture long-term relationships.
• Support client growth and retention through strategic planning.
• Mentor and manage assurance professionals to build a high-performing team.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain technical expertise through continuing professional education (CPE).
• Represent the firm at industry events to enhance brand visibility.
