Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Audit Associate to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in Southern New England offices. You will perform audits, assist with reviews and compilations, and support multiple client engagements with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 1 year of experience preferred, and CPA-candidate status is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and internal software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (internships may count).
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and regulations affecting financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the detail work of audits, reviews, some compilations and other assurance services.
• Support multiple client engagements of varying size and complexity, on time and within budget.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information for timely wrap-up.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and reports.

Education
