Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking an Associate to join the External Audit and Assurance Group starting in Summer 2027. You will work with an engagement team to audit financial statements for clients including financial institutions (SEC registrants), non-profits, employee benefit plans, and other entities.

This full-time role averages 45 hours per week, with busier periods requiring 55–60 hours. The position supports a hybrid schedule with training in-office as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting preferred; other fields ok with accounting courses.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status.
• Accurately prepare a variety of reports for management’s review per firm procedures.
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships during regular audit interactions.
• Availability to travel to clients; out-of-town travel less than 20%.
