Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking an Associate for our External Audit and Assurance Group starting in Summer 2027 to audit the financial statements for a diverse set of clients, including financial institutions (including SEC-registrants), nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and other clients.

This is a full-time role with an average of 45 hours per week, with busy-season overtime (55–60 hours). The hybrid model allows work from office, clients, or home, with onboarding training requiring some

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; accounting degree preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication.
• Highly organized with good time management skills.
• Snodgrass does not currently sponsor candidates for employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status.
• Accurately prepare a variety of reports for management’s review, using established firm policies and procedures.
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships during regular interactions throughout the audit process.
• Availability to travel to clients (out of town travel is less than 20%).
