Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA eligibility with plan to sit for the exam.
• 1–2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures for nonprofit, real estate, manufacturing, and construction clients under supervision.
• Prepare workpapers, test balances, and document procedures per firm standards.
• Gather, organize, and analyze client data including reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Participate in fieldwork at client sites and observe internal controls.
• Identify issues and communicate findings with documentation.
• Build proficiency in audit software and GAAP fundamentals.
• Pursue CPA licensure and develop technical depth.
