MBE CPAs is seeking an Audit/Assurance Associate to support the audit team in examining client financial records for GAAP compliance and firm standards. Ideal for entry-level candidates or professionals with up to 1–2 years in public accounting seeking to build a strong foundation in audit.

The role involves testing, documentation, and collaboration with Seniors and Managers to ensure efficient engagements. Onsite work is preferred, with possible hybrid arrangements based on location.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years of audit or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA eligible or intent to pursue CPA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with audit engagements, including testing, documentation, and preparation of workpapers.
• Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and escalate findings to senior team members.
• Learning and applying audit methodologies, standards, and firm procedures.
• Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to complete engagements efficiently and accurately.
• Communicating with clients as directed and providing a professional, positive experience.
• Building foundational knowledge of clients' businesses and industries.
