MMB+CO is seeking an associate in the assurance department to join a collaborative team focused on serving clients and building direct relationships. The role emphasizes learning and growth, developing organizational skills, and starting to review and evaluate fieldwork while engaging with clients directly.

You will work within the assurance team to apply GAAP/GAAS, prepare financial statements, and produce organized workpapers. Ongoing professional development and CPA pursuit are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1 year of professional work experience preferred.
• CPA pursuit supported.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies GAAP/GAAS and internal control standards.
• Prepares financial statements.
• Produces neat, complete workpapers using the firm’s technology.
• Keeps informed of current technical developments.
• Uses firm’s technology including MS Office and other software.
