Job summary

Starkey Retail is seeking an Audiology Technician to support licensed audiologists and front desk operations. The role includes testing support, instrument cleaning, and patient interaction within a clinic setting, with potential travel between locations under supervision.

The position blends patient care, administrative duties, and basic sales/marketing tasks to deliver a quality Patient Journey experience while adhering to relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED required.
• At least 3 years of customer service/patient care experience and or one year of office management.
• Ability to develop knowledge of software systems including Excel, Word, and Sycle.net.
• Good problem solving, analytical abilities, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to manage all confidential information with complete discretion.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure a positive patient experience by greeting and serving guests professionally and by managing check-in/check-out in patient management software.
• You will provide administrative assistance, schedule evaluations, support referrals, track marketing initiatives, and maintain patient files.
• You will contribute technical support by assisting with counseling and cleaning hearing instruments and monitoring tests in compliance with state laws.
• You will complete varied tasks such as reporting to the Regional Support Specialist, recalls for exams, follow-up on referrals, and handling deposits.
