Job summary

Starkey Retail, a Northland Hearing Centers, Inc. subsidiary, seeks an Audiology Technician to support clinicians in testing, cleaning hearing aids, and front-desk duties.

You will manage patient check-in/out, schedule evaluations, assist with referrals and billing data, and help with marketing and administrative tasks. Travel between offices may be required; licensure requirements apply.

Hourly compensation ranges from $19.62 to $24.63, with benefits and a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years customer service/patient care experience.
• Experience in office management is a plus.
• Ability to learn software systems including Excel, Word, and Sycle.net.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and service all guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check patients in/out in patient management software.
• Handle calls professionally and manage daily reports.
• Schedule audiometric evaluations and appointments.
• Support referrals and assist with billing data.
• Maintain patient files and office supplies.
• Assist with cleaning and testing of hearing instruments as applicable.
• Ensure patient privacy and insurance information.
