+ Location: Alexion - 121 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA 02210. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Requirement: Prior experience in audio-visual and conferencing support, with proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.

+ Pay Range: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Ensures all client audio-visual requirements are met and interfaces with various types of AV, communication, and presentation technology. Maintains positive customer relationships and responds promptly to inquiries regarding space or service needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Review customer and meeting planner requests and provide necessary equipment and assistance.
2. Support problem escalation and resolution, following up to ensure service quality.
3. Provide technical assistance for meetings and events requiring AV support.
4. Follow SOPs for AV support as provided by the AV Manager and Director of Technology and Operations.
5. Perform routine maintenance and report findings.
6. Replace data projectors, lamps, and cabling as needed.
7. Ensure customers are comfortable with equipment operation and provide training if necessary.
8. Maintain inventory and repair records of AV equipment.
9. Coordinate with team members and service partners for smooth operations.
10. Assist with conference room setups and breakdowns.
11. Organize AV storerooms.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least one year supporting AV for events.
• Proficient in computer skills and office technology.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
