Job summary

Union League Liberty Hill is seeking an Audio Visual Tech to set up and operate all AV and computer equipment for private events. You will follow the SOPs defined by the Event Services Manager and collaborate with the Housemen and Private Event Sales teams to meet Union League standards.

Responsibilities include regular inspections of event spaces, maintaining storage areas, and handling last-minute changes.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate audio visual and computer equipment.
• Follow AV SOPs per Event Services Manager.
• Work with Housemen to execute B.E.O.s to Union League standards.
• Perform monthly inventory of supplies, equipment, and furnishings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect private event spaces to ensure housekeeping and maintenance are addressed promptly.
• Maintain private event storage areas in line with housekeeping and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Private Event Sales and Planning on last-minute setup or equipment needs.
• Resolve customer-related problems on shift or in managers' absence.

Department: Event Services

Reports to: Event Services Manager

Objective:Ensures appropriate set up and operation of audio/visual equipment, meeting rooms, and furnishings.

Liberty Hill Audio Visual Techs Responsibilities:

• Responsible for set up and operation of all audio visual and computer related equipment.
• Adheres to AV Tech SOP as established by Event Services Manager.
• Works with Housemen team, ensuring that all details on the B.E.O.'s are executed in accordance with Union League standards.
• Conducts regular inspections of all private event spaces at The Lodge and Golf Club to ensure housekeeping and maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner.
• Responsible for maintaining all private event storage areas at The Lodge and Golf Club in accordance with housekeeping and safety regulations. Conducts monthly inventory of all supplies, equipment, and furnishings in accordance with company procedures. Maintains appropriate levels of guest supplies.
• Works closely with the Private Event Sales and Planning department and with Union League guests on last-minute changes to set up or equipment needs.
• Handles all customer-related problems on shift or in the absences of department managers.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by Liberty Hill management.
• Acts in a professional manner, in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures and the League handbook.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
