Job summary

The Union League of Philadelphia is seeking an Audio/Visual Technician within the Event Services department to ensure proper setup and operation of audio/visual equipment for private events. You will work with the Housemen team, follow SOPs, and address last-minute changes with our Private Event Sales and Planning groups.

• Sets up and operates AV and computer equipment as required.
• Maintains SOPs and adheres to Event Services Manager directions.
• Interacts with Housemen team to ensure events meet Union League standards.
• Performs regular inspections and maintains housekeeping and safety standards.

Department: Event Services

Reports to: Event Services Manager

Objective:Ensures appropriate set up and operation of audio/visual equipment, meeting rooms, and furnishings.

Liberty Hill Audio Visual Techs Responsibilities:

• Responsible for set up and operation of all audio visual and computer related equipment.
• Adheres to AV Tech SOP as established by Event Services Manager.
• Works with Housemen team, ensuring that all details on the B.E.O.'s are executed in accordance with Union League standards.
• Conducts regular inspections of all private event spaces at The Lodge and Golf Club to ensure housekeeping and maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner.
• Responsible for maintaining all private event storage areas at The Lodge and Golf Club in accordance with housekeeping and safety regulations. Conducts monthly inventory of all supplies, equipment, and furnishings in accordance with company procedures. Maintains appropriate levels of guest supplies.
• Works closely with the Private Event Sales and Planning department and with Union League guests on last-minute changes to set up or equipment needs.
• Handles all customer-related problems on shift or in the absences of department managers.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by Liberty Hill management.
• Acts in a professional manner, in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures and the League handbook.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
