Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to support banquet and event guests and assist team members in Conference Services. You’ll set up and run sound, video, projections, streaming, and lighting for digital and in-person events.

Role requires strong guest service, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to early, mid-day, and evening shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and a great work environment at one of the world’s premier vacation destinations await.

Qualifications

• Experience in the audio-visual industry with guest-service focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment.
• Willingness to learn and cover multiple roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sound and video equipment for meetings and events.
• Handle projection, streaming services, and stage lighting for multi-room setups.
• Communicate effectively with speakers, group leaders, and event managers.
• Troubleshoot hardware or software issues as they arise.
• Inspect AV setups for quality before events and maintain equipment order.

Responsibilities

Picture yourself being an AV Techat Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:

• Showcaseyour technical skills by setting up and running the sound system and video equipmentto conduct digital and in-person meetings, business conventions,conference andmiscellaneousevents
• Set and strike Audio-Visual equipment, mix soundboards, setup and monitor single and multi-room projection, web streaming services and enhancementlighting
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with group leaders, speakers and conference management to provide exceptional Audio-Visualexperiences
• Problemsolvetechnical and hardware issues whennecessary
• Inspect and perform quality checks on audio-visual setups prior to meetingstarts
• Assist our wait staff and bartenderswith room set upandplated and buffet food&beverageservice
• Showcase your cleanliness standards by maintaining impeccable orderof equipment and surroundingareas
• Maintain harmonious relationships with team members by being open to completing any task or function that will support the serviceexperience

• Have a minimum of 1-3years’ experience intheAudio-Visualindustry
