Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to support banquet and event guests, assist conference services, and help fellow team members deliver exceptional AV experiences across meetings, conferences, and events.

You will set up and run sound and video gear, monitor projection and streaming, coordinate with speakers and event managers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment order and cleanliness while remaining flexible to shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in the AV industry.
• Passion for guest service and hospitality.
• Friendly attitude and team player.
• Willing to learn and take on varied roles.
• Can lift 25 pounds.
• Available to work early, mid-day, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike AV equipment for meetings, conventions, and events.
• Monitor sound, projection, and streaming; manage single and multi-room setups.
• Communicate with speakers and conference managers to ensure a seamless AV experience.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as needed.
• Inspect setups for quality and safety before events.
• Assist wait staff with room setup and service as required.
• Maintain organized equipment and work areas; support team with tasks as needed.
• Learn and follow resort standards to better serve guests.

Responsibilities

Picture yourself being an AV Techat Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:

• Showcaseyour technical skills by setting up and running the sound system and video equipmentto conduct digital and in-person meetings, business conventions,conference andmiscellaneousevents
• Set and strike Audio-Visual equipment, mix soundboards, setup and monitor single and multi-room projection, web streaming services and enhancementlighting
