Job summary

Inspire Event Technologies LLC, based in Nashville, seeks an Audio Visual Supervisor to lead hotel AV operations at the Renaissance Nashville. The role manages technicians, ensures equipment readiness, and upholds service standards for conferences and events.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of AV experience with some hospitality background and at least 1 year of team leadership, plus strong organization and communication skills. On-site role with full-time benefits and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of audio-visual experience.
  • 1–3 years of hospitality experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of team leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that the AV equipment needed is in our inventory before the event.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully operational, and repair/clean when necessary.
  • Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
  • Label broken equipment.
  • Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
  • Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
  • Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
  • Perform daily floor management, including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
  • Understand acoustics and sound amplification to support temporary and permanent equipment solutions for events and daily operations.
  • Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
  • Upsell AV services.
  • Monitor equipment operation.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Other tasks as requested.

We are seeking an Audio Visual Supervisor to join our team at the Renaissance Nashville in Nashville, TN.
Job Summary

The Supervisor will assist and direct assigned Hotel Audiovisual Technicians in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceeded in the perception of our clients and customers.

What Will You Be Doing?

What Do You Need?
  • 2-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.

  • 1 or more years of experience leading a team is preferred.
