Job summary

INSPIRE is seeking an Audio Visual Supervisor to lead the hotel AV team at the Renaissance Montgomery in Montgomery, AL. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring service levels meet and exceed client expectations for events and daily hotel operations.

The role requires 2–5 years of AV experience, some hospitality background, and a track record in supervising staff. You will manage scheduling, training, and client interactions to deliver seamless experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• 1–3 years of hospitality experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team preferred.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading workflow and teams; strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the AV equipment needed is in our inventory before the event.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
• Ensure all equipment is operational, and repair/clean when necessary.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
• Label broken equipment.
• Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
• Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
• Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
• Perform daily floor management, including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
• Understand acoustics and sound amplification to support temporary and permanent equipment solutions for events and daily operations.
• Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
• Upsell AV services.
• Monitor equipment operation.
• Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Other tasks as requested.

We are seeking an Audio Visual Supervisor to join our team at the Renaissance Montgomery in Montgomery, AL.

Job Summary

The Supervisor will assist and direct assigned Hotel Audiovisual Technicians in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceeded in the perception of our clients and customers.
