Job summary

INSPIRE Nashville seeks an Audio Visual Supervisor to join the Renaissance Nashville team in Nashville, TN. The role leads AV technicians, ensuring top-tier event delivery and adherence to service standards in a hospitality-focused setting.

You will manage equipment setup, troubleshoot complex AV systems, coordinate with event teams, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
• 1-3 years of hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team is preferred.
• Knowledge of technical theory.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the AV equipment needed is in inventory before the event.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
• Ensure all equipment is fully operational and repair/clean when necessary.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
• Label broken equipment and check delivered equipment against banquet event orders/flow sheets.
• Direct daily floor management and assist with labor scheduling.
• Understand acoustics and sound amplification for events and operations.
• Upsell AV services and assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching staff.
