INSPIRE in Nashville, TN seeks an Audio Visual Supervisor to lead hotel AV technicians, ensure service standards, and deliver flawless event experiences.

Responsabilités

• Verify AV equipment is in inventory before events.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Ensure equipment is fully operational and repair/clean when necessary.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
• Label broken equipment.
• Check deliveries and room setup against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
• Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
• Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
• Perform daily floor management, directing technician workflow and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
• Understand acoustics and sound amplification to support AV solutions.
• Assist guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
• Upsell AV services.
• Monitor equipment operation.
• Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; be a role model and open-door facilitator.
• Other tasks as requested.

We are seeking an Audio Visual Supervisor to join our team at the Renaissance Nashville in Nashville, TN.

Job Summary

The Supervisor will assist and direct assigned Hotel Audiovisual Technicians in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceeded in the perception of our clients and customers.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Verify that the AV equipment needed is in our inventory before the event.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
• Ensure all equipment is fully operational, and repair/clean when necessary.
• Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
• Label broken equipment.
• Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
• Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
• Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
• Perform daily floor management, including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
• Understand acoustics and sound amplification to support temporary and permanent equipment solutions for events and daily operations.
• Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
• Upsell AV services.
• Monitor equipment operation.
• Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Other tasks as requested.

What Do You Need?

• 2-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
• 1-3 years of hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 or more years of experience leading a team is preferred.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading workflow and team members. Must have great organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and prioritization.
