Job summary

A leading audio-visual installation company in Woodstock, Georgia is seeking a dedicated technician for audio/video installation and service tasks. The role requires completion of audio/video setups, troubleshooting, and daily paperwork, ensuring timely service delivery. Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to work independently. A clean driving record and at least one year of field experience are necessary. Training programs will be provided for skill enhancements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on rotating 'on-call' service schedule.
• Minimum of 1-year field experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete one-room audio/video installs and setup.
• Satellite/Cable systems setup and install.
• Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems.
• Basic networking/data system installation and setup.
• Basic programming of single-room advanced systems.
• Basic understanding of multi-room systems and setup
• Basic understanding of security system programming and design
• Basic understanding of Intuitive AV, Inc single room systems
• CEDIA ESTII or better certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Completion of Alarm.com Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment

This is not a "production" Technician position. This involves AV such as Cat6 cable running, retrofitting of cat6 or fiber, termination, audio, such as installing in ceiling speakers theater builds, Control4 programming (not required), installation of security equipment such as glass breaks, door sensors (wired and wireless), alarm panels, touch screens, light switches etc. Must have your own tools.

Job Summary

Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.
