Job summary

ProSource is seeking a field installer to complete room-scale A/V installations and service calls in California. You will handle daily procedures, paperwork, and vehicle maintenance while coordinating with fellow installers.

Ideal candidates show strong communication, problem-solving, and tool-use skills, with at least one year of field experience and a commitment to training through ProSource University.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven.
• Ability to work on rotating on-call service schedule.
• Proficient in all Assistant level qualifications.
• Competent with desktop and mobile computing.
• Clean driving record and background check (DCJS certification).
• Minimum of 1-year field experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete one-room audio/video installs and setup.
• Satellite/Cable systems setup and install.
• Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems.
• Basic networking/data system installation and setup.
• Basic programming of single-room, advanced systems.
• Basic understanding of multi-room systems and setup.
• Basic understanding of security system programming and design.
• Basic understanding of Visions Audio Video single-room systems.
• CEDIA ESTII or better certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Alarm.com Academy completion (or obtain within 6 months).
• ProSource University completion within the first year of employment.
