Job summary

Iowa PBS is seeking an Audience Engagement Manager to lead engagement and outreach across Iowa. The role plans events, screenings and speaker engagements, serving as a public-facing representative and building partnerships with community organizations to extend the network’s reach and impact.

Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, supporting paid marketing campaigns, and collaborating with communications and other teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective audience

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing audience engagement activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences and partners.
• Proven ability to represent an organization publicly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead audience engagement events, screenings, and outreach across Iowa.
• Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Represent Iowa PBS at events, conferences and public activities.
• Coordinate event logistics, promotional materials and on-site setup.
• Track participation and report outcomes to inform future efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and messaging.
