Job summary

Iowa PBS is seeking a dynamic Audience Engagement Manager to lead community engagement and outreach across Iowa. This role builds relationships with partners, plans events and screenings, and serves as a public-facing representative to connect audiences with Iowa PBS programs and services.

You will coordinate logistics, track engagement outcomes, and collaborate with marketing, production and education teams to extend Iowa PBS’s reach. Travel statewide may be required.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time work experience in the administration or operation/execution of a program.
• Ability to build relationships with community partners and diverse audiences.
• Experience coordinating events, outreach, and public-facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement audience engagement events and outreach activities across Iowa.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Represent Iowa PBS at events, conferences and public activities.
• Coordinate event logistics, materials and on-site setup.
• Track participation and report engagement outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to expand Iowa PBS presence in communities.
