Job summary

Iowa PBS is seeking an energetic Audience Engagement Manager to lead community outreach across Iowa. You will plan events, screenings and presentations, build partnerships with organizations, and serve as the public face of Iowa PBS to diverse audiences.

Travel statewide to support events, coordinate with departments, and develop engaging programs that expand our reach and impact through education and public programming.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement audience engagement events, program screenings, speaker events and outreach activities across Iowa.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, public and private partners, viewers and other stakeholders to expand Iowa PBS’s reach.
• Represent Iowa PBS at community events, conferences, festivals and other public-facing activities.
• Coordinate event logistics, including promotional materials, exhibits, equipment, supplies and on-site setup.
• Track participation and prepare reports on audience engagement activities and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to expand Iowa PBS’s presence and engagement in communities across the state.
