Job summary

Iowa PBS is seeking an Audience Engagement Manager to lead statewide outreach and audience development initiatives. You will plan events, build community partnerships, and serve as a public-facing representative of the network.

Responsibilities include coordinating engagement activities, supporting marketing campaigns, and collaborating across departments to extend Iowa PBS’s reach and impact across Iowa communities. Travel statewide to events and tours, and report on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audience engagement programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel statewide and represent the organization publicly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement audience engagement events and outreach activities across Iowa.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to expand reach.
• Represent Iowa PBS at events, conferences, and public-facing activities.
• Coordinate event logistics including materials, exhibits, and on-site setup.
• Monitor campaign performance and inform future outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with departments to align engagement opportunities with network priorities.
