Job summary

Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, invites applications for an entry-level Consignment Presentation Associate. Based in Dallas, this role centers on preparing consignment items for auction, including sorting, imaging, labeling and data entry, with heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.

Training will cover imaging workflows and strict accuracy standards. Hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on-site, with overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• General knowledge of paper money.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Pre-auction tasks: enter item information, ensure imaging, prepare (sort, clean, label) items for auction.
• Post-auction tasks: prepare orders for shipping, ship orders, process items remaining onsite until payments are received.
• Inform Supervisors of discrepancies or issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUMMARY

This is an entry-level position that is responsible for the presentation of consignment items, which includes sorting, imaging, cleaning, labeling, data entry, and some heavy lifting.

LOCATION

Not a remote position. This position is onsite at South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane.

COMPENSATION

Compensated based on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pre-auction tasks
  • Enter item information into the computer system accurately
  • Ensure all items are imaged promptly
  • Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction
  • Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting
• Post-auction tasks
  • Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with established procedures
  • Ship orders immediately after auctions.
  • Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received
• Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma required
• General knowledge of paper money
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
• Individuals must be comfortable lifting to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment; hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; able to work overtime as needed during peak seasons. This is a non-traveling position; all work will occur at Heritage Auctions headquarters.
