Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Driver I - Non-DOT for a day shift at a fixed Cox location in the United States. The role involves operating vehicles on auction day, moving cars around the lot, and assisting customers while maintaining safety standards. A $1000 signing bonus is offered, with potential for additional compensation.

Shift is Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks, and prior auction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers needed.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and walk long distances.
• Previous auction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing driving rules and safety principles.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed.
• Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify Service or Gas Truck Driver when vehicle is out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
