Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT at a Cox location. This role focuses on the safe moving, staging and parking of vehicles on Auction property, plus driving to auction lots and customer businesses, and guiding vehicles through sale lanes in line with safety rules.

The position offers a 3-day workweek (Mon-Fri) from 8:30am to 5pm, with an hourly pay rate of $21.16. A pre-employment drug test is required; Cox Automotive maintains a drug-free workplace and offers benefits including

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and drive vehicles with manual/automatic transmission.
• Able to walk long distances and lift light loads.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to/from designated areas on Auction premises and to/from customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed and jump start if necessary.
• Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
