Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA, Manheim, is hiring a Driver I (Non-DOT, Individual Contributor) with a Monday–Friday 7:30a–4:30p schedule. This role has no remote option and requires you to work at a Cox location.

The hourly pay rate is $16.74, with potential for additional compensation or incentives. You will drive vehicles through auction lanes, transport them to and from designated areas, stage and park inventory, and help locate misplaced vehicles.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous auction experience.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes and around auction grounds following procedures.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas, dealerships and business locations.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles as directed by supervisors or team leaders.
• Locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement (inflate tires, jump-start).
• Report vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide friendly support to customers, dealers and coworkers.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to safety culture.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
