Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support auction operations. You will input vehicle data into the SECURE system, affix stock labels, place routing labels, and guide transports to the correct drop zones, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced yard.

Work is scheduled Tuesday–Friday (8:30am–5pm) and Saturday (7am–3:30pm) with possible overtime. Hourly pay ranges from $16.63 to $24.90, with potential additional compensation depending on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or less than 2 years related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Vision: close, distance, color vision, depth perception.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag 'no key' cars.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Cross-train for check-in and provide assistance when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, including assisting on sale days.
