Freeman’s is seeking a Payment Specialist in Chicago to manage outstanding balances and support the Finance team. You will vet bidders, communicate with clients, and help streamline payments and invoicing processes. Some weekend/evening work may be required to support auctions.

You will collaborate with the bid department, ensure accurate tax handling, and provide updates on delinquent accounts while upholding Freeman’s brand and client interaction guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience with MS Office and Excel is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cash deposits, wire transfers, and payment processing.
• Record payments in the inventory system.
• Ensure accurate sales tax on invoices and maintain tax exemption docs.
• Serve as primary contact for buyer inquiries about invoices and payments.
• Follow up on all open accounts receivable by phone and email.
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve collection processes.
