Job summary

Family Entertainment Group LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain attractions, ensuring minimal downtime and a safe, fun guest experience.

You will work with the Technical Manager and General Manager to plan preventive maintenance, source parts, manage stock, and communicate effectively with staff to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and some technical training.
  • Minimum one year of technical experience or equivalent training through classwork or previous employment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on attractions to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in coordinating with the Technical Manager or General Manager to develop a preventive maintenance plan.
  • Acquire parts for attractions from new or existing sources to minimize parts expense.
  • Manage parts ordering and use; update tracking system timely.
  • Communicate all attraction problems or operational issues with management.
  • Work full shifts as scheduled; on site for opening to close with no exceptions.
  • Greet guests and resolve issues with a positive attitude and efficient service.
  • Assist in cleaning attractions and perform other game room duties when needed.
  • Ensure token changers and ticket stations operate properly where applicable.
  • Display instant win prizes responsibly and keep COGS in line with guidelines.
  • Follow security procedures for token collection and storage.
  • Perform weekly collections of games when required.
  • Assist other locations with setup, teardown, and moves to improve operations.
  • Protect company assets and data; maintain professional leadership and relationships.
  • Adhere to the Employee Policy Handbook and meet quarterly with supervisor.

Job Specific
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on attractions to minimize down time. Attractions should be kept in a like new condition.
  • Assist in the coordination with the Technical Manager or General Manger to develop a preventive maintenance plan.
  • Acquire parts for attractions from new or existing sources with the goal to minimize parts expense.
  • Manage parts ordering and use. Update web-based tracking system timely.
  • Communicate all attraction problems or operational issues with the Technical Manager or General Manager.
  • Work full shifts when scheduled; whether working alone or scheduled as the second person on a busy night shift. An employee must be on location all hours of the day from opening to close without exception.
  • Greet each guest that has a problem or issue with a smile and good attitude and ascertain what is needed to resolve the issue in the quickest and fairest way possible to the guest.
  • Assist in cleaning attractions. If applicable assist with loading games with tickets, filling Instant Win merchandise and perform other game room attendant duties when working alone or scheduled as the second person on a busy night shift.
  • Ensure that the token changers are full of tokens and working properly and ticket stations are empty and working properly where applicable.
  • Display instant win prizes so that they are appealing the customer and the cost of goods sold falls within guidelines where applicable.
  • Ensure that token collecting and storage and other security procedures are strictly followed where applicable.
  • Perform a weekly collection of games when required where applicable.
  • Assist other locations in set up, tear down, attraction moves or improving their operations.
  • Manage and protect company assets including, but not limited to, equipment and systems containing sensitive or proprietary information and data.
  • Maintain effective leadership and working relationships with all departments and company personnel in accordance with the FEG Employee Policy and Procedure Handbook. Manage staff according to the standards and policies set forth by the company.
  • Any other legal duties as required by the General Manager.
