JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
- Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining attractions in superior working order.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back end.
- Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery.
- Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals.
- Maintain a safe work environment and assist the supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules.
- Advise the supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance.
- Ability to work various shifts; regular attendance is required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required.
- Work flexibility: nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
- General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
- Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time (more than two thirds of the time).
- Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing, and pulling.
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 pounds (70+ pounds with the assistance of a dolly).
- Wear personal protective gear.
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools such as drills, ladders, and chemicals.
