The role requires drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, and guiding litigation strategy with senior trial lawyers.

The position is hybrid with in-office attendance four days a week. JD from an accredited law school is required, and strong research, writing, and advocacy skills are

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of plaintiff-side class action litigation experience, including wage and hour matters.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review strategy, and discovery motions.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses.
• Support class and collective action litigation strategy, including certification-related work.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for hearing and trial, including evidentiary and pretrial submissions.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate case tasks to keep matters on track.

Plaintiff-Side Wage and Hour Class Action Attorney | Chicago Metro | Hybrid | Up to $250,000 Base Salary

A confidential plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking an attorney with 4 to 10 years of experience to support wage and hour class and collective actions.

This role is built for a litigator who enjoys fast-moving case work, strong written and oral advocacy, and taking meaningful ownership of matters while collaborating closely with experienced trial lawyers.

Location, Schedule and Compensation:

Location: Chicago metropolitan area, Illinois

Schedule: Hybrid, in office 4 days per week

Compensation: Up to $250,000 base salary, dependent on experience
