Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney‑represented bodily injury claims. This hybrid role reports to an office about four days a month for meetings and coaching, with the option to work in office more.

Open to candidates near Phoenix, AZ or Henderson, NV. You will determine coverage, negotiate with claimants or attorneys, settle claims, and assess liability, coverage, and damages while developing your career.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience, including 1 year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree plus 3 years relevant experience with 1 year in claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year in claims handling.
• This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow‑up with no‑fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
