Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP seeks a proactive Attorney Recruiting Manager to own the full recruitment lifecycle for attorneys, focusing on lateral associates and student recruitment. The role blends strategy, market intelligence, and team leadership to deliver a high-touch candidate experience and strengthen the talent pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of attorney recruiting in a national or international law firm, with 2+ years of people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years attorney recruiting or talent management in a multi-office law firm.
• 2+ years of people-management preferred.
• Proven success running high-volume, full-cycle legal recruiting with strong organization and ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
• Strong consultative communication and data-backed recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle lateral associate recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, interview management, candidate communication, feedback synthesis, offer development, onboarding.
• Build proactive pipelines for priority practices; partner with hiring partners and leadership to clarify staffing needs and growth objectives.
• Maintain relationships with select external recruiters; negotiate terms, track performance, ensure quality submissions.
• Monitor market trends and compensation patterns; translate insights into sourcing strategies and actionable recommendations.
• Oversee compliant documentation and data hygiene across ATS tools; generate dashboards and analytics for decision-making.
• Lead the student recruitment program; manage OCI calendars, interviewers, and campus outreach.
• Design and manage a Summer Associate Program: orientation, training, evaluations, events, and conversions.
• Track student-recruiting outcomes; assess yield and ROI to refine strategies.
• Develop a plan for skills mapping to align with practice group needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop Recruiting Coordinators; establish service standards and continuous-improvement routines.
